Christmas Pageant Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love are on the way! Come, see, and hear the story of the first Christmas on Sunday, December 11th at 10:30am -- through its re-enactment by the children and young folks of our congregation, through the spoken word, and through the community singing of familiar Christmas carols. There are opportunities for everyone (including you!) to assist in the production of this year’s Christmas Pageant during worship. For more information, contact Mark & Karen Boucher.
Christmas Remembrance & Reflection A special evening of worship will take place on Tuesday, December 13th at 7:00pm for those who mourn, are troubled, or for whom Christmas may be a difficult time. This time of ecumenical worship is sponsored by the Bayview-Sheppard Ministerial Group, and, this year, the event will take place at Trinity. The Rev. Ferne Reeve will be participating and there will be refreshments following worship.
Christmas CanticlesOn Sunday, December 18th at 10:30am, Christmas Canticles brings favorite carols and beautiful new songs to this cantata for the Holy Season. Benjamin Harlan has created a beautifully inspired work, with masterful colouring through John Purifoy's orchestrations. We are invited to ask ourselves, "Do you suppose God loves me as much as I love my family?" We've been told all our lives that He does. God loved each of us enough to place His only Child in a tough, harsh world so that we can learn about loving others more than loving ourselves... and learn about loving unlovely people. Revisit the immortal carols in Christmas Canticles with new colour. It is hoped that this music will help you put away busy work, stop, and pay homage to the Infant King who gave all. Unconditionally. Willingly. Sacrificially. Gloria in excelsis Deo!
