In our local community, we: - Support young children coming to the OEYC (Ontario Early Years Centre) hosted at Trinity, each Tuesday and Thursday morning in the North Hall. From 20 to 40 children attend each day.
- Continue our discussions with an Ontario Cabinet Minister, to seek extension of the OEYC mandate.
- Enable local businesses to contribute to Evangel Hall through events such as the Trinity-organized Golf Tournament. This year $70,000 was raised. Trinity is grateful for the continued support of Gord and Laureen Evans, who again donated their golf course - the venue for this event.
- Collect donated food items for the Trinity Food Cupboard. This service is much appreciated by the recipients.
- Administer the Benevolent Fund on behalf of Session.
- Cooperate with other groups in shared projects. The Christmas-Gift Peace Tree in the Atrium, with the Congregational Life Committee, is one example.
- Delivering the computers and software, donated by members of the congregation, to Armagh. This enables their clients to develop self-sustaining skills in a safe environment.
In the wider world: - our youth are collecting textbooks, notebooks and writing materials for children in Afghanistan schools
