A wonderful tradition for many years at Trinity is our Christmas pageant, typically two weeks before Christmas Day. Our church school children up to grade 6 depict the wondrous story of the birth of Jesus with costume, song and drama. They are ably assisted by the youth in the congregation. The same afternoon, we repeat the pageant for the residents of the North York Seniors Health Center. Always a welcome and moving time, the seniors look forward to the simple depiction of this familiar story. We are honored to share in their Christmas celebration. The Pageant enjoyed a new twist this past year and the year before. The children and many members of the congregation jointly raised $4800 for World Vision - enough to fill four stables of animals for developing countries. The animals were a welcome addition to our Pageant "props."
