Welcome to the Trinity Presbyterian Church SUNDAY SCHOOL!

The Sunday school is divided into the following groups:

• JK to Grade 2
• Grades 3 and 4
• Grades 5 and 6

Routines and Responsibilities:

• "Time with children" as printed in the bulletin, indicates that the children of all ages (J- K to grade 8) come to the front of the church during the last verse of the hymn, where the minister will briefly discuss the gospel reading.
• Children (Grades JK to 6) are lead into the Founder's Hall room (please see below for room locations) where they learn new Christian songs (these are in preparation for a special event).
• Teachers are requested to stay with the children until dismissed.
• Teachers escort the children to the appropriate room and take attendance, collect the donation envelopes and begin the lesson that they have prepared.
• The teachers will cover one Unit during a 4- week span. This Unit will be taught in four variations: Drama, Video, Craft and Temple (one for each Sunday of the month for each grade grouping); therefore each child will have the opportunity to experience the gospel unit in each of these four learning tools so as to maximize comprehension and enjoyment. NB. Each Sunday, money is collected for church purposes as well as for Mission Sunday purposes (envelopes are provided for the children to bring on Sundays).
• Children are kept in class until a parent or guardian comes down to pick them up.
• Children as well as parents are encouraged to join the congregation in the "North Hall" for coffee, tea, juice, and cookies and community after the service.

Room Locations:

• Classrooms are all located down the staircase that is just to the right of the coat rack.
• The Nursery is at the first door on the left
• The Drama room is at the 2nd door on the left
• The Video room is at the 3rd door on the left
• The Temple room is at the 4th door on the left
• The Craft room is located in the "West Hall". You must take the first set of stairs located just to the left of the Church hall.
• The Doig Room is the room just to the left of the Church hall.
• Founder's Hall is located in the "old part" of the church up the stairs from the Doig Room. The "North Hall" is the large "gymnasium/theatre".
• The kitchen is located just off the hallway leading to the North Hall just past the washrooms.
• The washrooms are located in just off the North Hall and down the staircase just to the right of the coat rack.
