Our church has developed specific policies and procedures for ensuring the safety of our young people and vulnerable adults who are part of our church family and congregational life. All volunteers and leaders in our congregation are screened through police checks & sign a covenant of care. We adhere to the Presbyterian Church in Canada's document "Leading With Care" that may be accessed through this link: http://www.presbyterian.ca/node/2031 We have recently established an evacuation procedure for the congregation on a Sunday morning. Each of the Church School classes have been introduced to the procedure as well.
